On August 19th, meetinghouse and Ground Control Miami activated a three-day pop-up shop to support future programming, as well as bringing some summer revenue to the participating artists. Carlos Rigaumakes images, moving images and sculpture. At the onset of a work, Rigau’s process begins with collage techniques allowing him to experiment with content that is not congruent and forms that are irregular. This process leads to new forms that may guide him to reevaluating the content. Artifice, display and perception are Rigau's primary fields of inquirers. Critical agitation and defamiliarization is the intent.
