Carlos Rigau - General Practice

General Practice has been Carlos Rigau’s curatorial practice for 4 years. Recently, he has turned this practice into an experimental interview television show. The focus of this work is to highlight underrepresented experimental artists working in NYC and Miami. Many artists, musicians and writers in N.Y. work on the fringe. This is often the case because of their economic class, gender and/or ethnicity. Sometimes the work is not market friendly. Very often, this experimental work is a prelude of things to come. "General Practice Presents" will be an avenue for these fringe makers to present their work and be able to document their existence and contributions.
